So another frustrating day trying to get the locations squared away for our May, 11th shoot for the short i am directing called "Jingle"...As this is my first blog i know that no one knows exactly what the hell i am talking about right?
Well "Jingle" is an original screenplay that my father came up with about a young boy who recieves a digital camera for his birthday and goes out and about to take some pictures. When he looks through the view finder he sees a young Native American girl dressed in ceremonial dress, when he takes a picture the girl is still in it.. He takes another and she is gone, vanished. He heads home and uploads them to see that she is in most if not all of the photos where she wasnt physically there when he took them. Eventually with the help of a Native American elder of the Potowatami tribe named John, he helps her cross over which she could not have done without the boy.
But ofcourse, we have not heard a thing from one of the owners of our potential location for the boy's home. everything else is lined up except for this one location, its bloody frustrating waiting on one damn person.
